Getting your own SnapDragon or Dragon

When funding has been secured and your order has been placed, we will start to build your very own Dragon or SnapDragon.

To make sure we get all the details correct we will carry out a detailed assessment of your seating, and also your other needs, which will define the specification for your powerchair.

Your full assessment will probably take place at home or another suitable place near you (like your school or wheelchair clinic), but if your needs are complex it may be helpful for you to come to our workshop in Cambridge. Here we have all the resources available to try out lots of different solutions so we can then design special controls or unusual seating if they are needed.

When your Dragon or SnapDragon is ready you come to Cambridge so that we can do the final adjustments to fit it to you exactly. During your final fitting day you will drive the chair to ensure the controls suit you and we will also teach you what you need to know to make best use of it once you take it home with you.
